Reflecting on Simon Clarke's work
I finally hung these two canvas print on my wall almost a year on since we bought them in Cornwall.
Ever since I hung them in the wall, Kyler would look at them, perhaps trying to spot the dog and sheep on them or simply just therapeutic. Sometimes, they can be a distraction while nursing him. He kept turning his head away from his target. Not again, he is doing it right now while I am writing this note.

When a child is born
A ray of hope flickers in the sky
A tiny star lights up way up high
All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass when a child is born
A silent wish sails the seven seas
The winds of change whisper in the trees
And the walls of doubt crumble tossed andtorn
This comes to pass, when a child is born
A rosy hue settles all around
You got the feel, you're on solid ground
For a spell or two no one seems forlorn
This comes to pass, when a child is born
[Spoken:]
And all of this happens, because the world is waiting.
Waiting for one child; Black-white-yellow, no one knows...
But a child that will grow up and turn tears to laughter,
Hate to love, war to peace and everyone to everyone's neighbor,
And misery and suffering will be words to be forgotten forever.
It's all a dream and illusion now,
It must come true sometime soon somehow,
All across the land dawns a brand new morn,
This comes to pass when a child is born.

Singing and cooing
As Kyler reaches his four-month mark, he can vary his voice, adding some adorable coos and goo-goos to his repertoire. He also make attention-grabbing squeal of delight as well. These giggles and cackles are the first inklings of Kyler's sense of humor. And not forgetting his eyebrows which raised in delight to charm you.

Dressed for success
The gift from Joanne came just in time for Kyler as I start to run out of clothes. Time passes really quickly. Before I knew it, I have to pack the clothes which are too small in size and replenish larger ones.
